The History of Banana-Skin Version
This page describes how Banana-Skin came into being. Joy.

Perhaps it's best explained by the logs. Basically, I thought up the name while on #pokebattles on IRC, 'cuz if I wanted to be a webmaster, I needed a colour for my Version. It went something like this:

[21:24] * KiwiBOT is not dead! As he drifts in the void, he notices a door to another world... as he opens it, he comes across a rather revealing Hentai picture of Mattchu-Sama - and thinks this would make great revenge... :)
[21:24] * Mattchu-Sama points out that it's actually a picture of KiwiBOT that has been set with a dim looking lens, and being courteous he rips it out for KiwiBOT and tosses it in a nearby black hole, before shoving KiwiBOT back into the void of no returen. No doors this time either. STILL DUN MESS WITH THE ANTHRO FLAREON-MYUUTSU! MWAHA

And there you have it. I don't know what twisted part of my brain told me to suggest Banana-Skin as a colour, but I'm glad I did.

What happened next?
Good question. Basically, I forgot about it for some time, the idea of Banana-Skin only cropping up whenever somebody mentioned Webmasters or Versions. Then I decided that I wanted to make it after all, and started work on it. Shortly afterwards, I decided to use the name Mugitsu as my nick in IRC, and this is what happened:

It was quite weird, knowing that the word Mujitsu meant "innocent" - but then I thought it would go perfectly with the ideas I had in mind... anyway, I then DCC'ed Flashfire what I had at the time (which wasn't much), and later on the next day, he commented about it:

(By the way, I know I spelt Mugitsu wrong at first in this quote, so don't email me about it :)

And basically, that settled it. I worked on Banana-Skin, making adjustments to my original battles and generally improving the quality of the site. Eventually, I uploaded it to 50megs.com, and you're now looking at the finished result!
